Alongside the technical maintenance, I also provided ongoing creative support:

  • Website refreshes to keep the brand visually aligned as offerings shifted

This retainer role required consistency, adaptability, and strategic awareness, supporting both long-term infrastructure and time-sensitive launches. My focus was on creating calm, reliable systems that allowed Kayla to stay focused on teaching and serving her community — without being pulled into the tech.

Kayla Nielsen is a yoga teacher and educator who leads Yoga Alliance–certified trainings, continuing education programs, retreats, and online courses designed to help yoga teachers grow with confidence, clarity, and integrity in their teaching. Her work blends thoughtful education with real-world application, serving both newer and experienced teachers through structured trainings and ongoing resources.

As part of an ongoing monthly retainer, I supported Kayla as her Tech Virtual Assistant and creative partner, providing consistent, behind-the-scenes support as her business and offerings continued to evolve.

Rather than one-off tasks, my role focused on maintaining, refining, and improving the systems she relied on day to day — ensuring her website, courses, and marketing tools stayed aligned, functional, and easy to manage over time.

Monthly support included:

  • Ongoing WordPress website management and refreshes, such as page updates, layout adjustments, mobile optimization, and content changes as offers evolved

  • Building, updating, and maintaining sales pages, opt-in pages, and lead magnet funnels to support active and evergreen offers

  • Implementing and managing countdown timers and deadline-based elements on WordPress for launches and promotions

  • Email marketing support through Mailchimp, including automations, broadcasts, and lead magnet delivery

  • ManyChat automation management to support inquiries, opt-ins, and audience engagement

  • Thinkific course support, including organizing modules, uploading content, and aligning course pages with live offers

  • Monitoring and maintaining platform integrations so systems worked together smoothly rather than as disconnected tools.
